Kenny is the Chief Executive (CE) of Corporate and Investment Banking at Standard Bank. In this role, Kenny is responsible for the largest Corporate and Investment bank in Sub-Saharan Africa with an annual turn-over of R42.9 billion in 2021 and a footprint that covers 20 African countries and representation in 5 financial centres of London, New York, Dubai, Beijing and Sao Paulo. 

Kenny is a respected leader with extensive leadership and investment banking experience. In his 15-year tenure within Standard Bank he has led different businesses and distinguished himself in his ability to turn around struggling businesses and inspire teams. Kenny has a diverse professional history, having started his career in the trade union movement in the 1980’s. He regards the most challenging and growth period of his career as his involvement in the turn-around of the finances of the City of Johannesburg in the late 90’s. 

Kenny holds an MSC in Financial Economics from the University of London and a MBA from the University of Witwatersrand.
