Senior Transactor, Structured Capital, Leverage Finance
Mindfulness and living with intention bring us closer to our purpose, and for Neha Bantha, adopting these approaches in her daily life has given her a stronger sense of self.
Her personal journey to self-mastery involves practising yoga, which grounds her by connecting to her body through movement and breath, while providing her with peace of mind and the ability to show gratitude in every moment. She also loves to travel and immerse herself in new environments and cultures.
Neha has over 8 years of experience in the investment banking space, specifically in leveraged and acquisition finance, debt advisory and debt arranging, as well as transactional experience with management buyouts, leveraged buyouts, recapitalisations, senior and mezzanine debt funding, share cover funding, fund leverage, preference share funding and complex debt restructuring. Her clients include core private equity groups, investment holding companies and corporates in South Africa and across the African continent.
She has played a crucial role in transactions that are in line with the Bank’s strategic objective to deliver structured capital solutions to select Africa-focused private equity funds to facilitate growth, and recently helped facilitate a USD75m credit facility for AfricInvest’s largest and most recent private equity fund.
